Maria Bartolomei was in charge of the Nursing Department of The Olivetti Factory Medical Center in Pozzuoli for several decades, at which time she was responsible for the nursing procedures in connection with the Olivetti Heart Study.
More recently she has provided an invaluable contribution to the processes of data collection for the last follow-up examinations and of interaction with the study participants.
